About us
IPSEN LOGISTICS was established in Algeria by the name of cet – compagnie d’emballage et transport in 1977. Over the years we have established wide-ranging contacts and connections with local partners and institutions throughout the country. Today we run 4 offices located in Oran, Algiers, Skikda and Hassi Messaoud with 40 staff in total.
From the start our forwarding activities have been centered on transporting industrial plant for engineering projects. Since then, we have acquired
comprehensive experience in the field of project logistics which currently
represents 75 % of our total activities. From 2003 onward, more that 20 industrials projects in various industrial sectors have been handled by IPSEN LOGISTICS Algeria.
Another focus of our activities are LCL services with weekly departures from Istanbul, Genova, Marseille and Hamburg.
We are licensed customs brokers (Broker Licence N° 05 160) and will handle your customs matters expertly. It goes
without saying that we are unconditionally committed to meeting our customers’ deadlines and to maintaining an efficient flow
of data to keep them informed.

Experience
The following examples are meant to give an impression of what we do:
ENOR Project:
Total volume 7000 cbm of equipment for gold mine to Amesmessa via Algiers, destination near the Mali border, 2500 km from Algiers port, 450 of which difficult tracks only to be negotiated by the help of local Touareg guides.
ABB Bechar Project:
Total volume 3500 cbm, 6 transformers of 60 t each. Skidding on foundation arranged by IPSEN LOGISTICS.
Cegelec – high voltage electrical line from Naama to Bechar:
Total volume: 5000 tons, 52 km of high voltage line consisting of 130 Pylones and electrical wires
Burlington - MLN Oil Field Project:
Delivery of pipes for new exploration
