· 23.06.2010 ·Giving Impulses in South East AsiaMalaysia is one of the most important economic regions in South East Asia, booming and with a lot of potential. With the crisis gradually receding, now is the right time to invest. Reason enough for IPSEN LOGISTICS to send additional support from Europe to the local organization: Young logistic professional Alexander Soens, just returned from a 5 months commitment in Indonesia, has taken on the task of further developing national and international business relations as well as giving new impulses.
After more than 15 years in Malaysia, IPSEN LOGISTICS is a well-known brand all over and beyond the country. “The existing structures are next to perfect”, the young man states in the wake of his vocational adjustment in the Penang Head Office, “now we have to proceed from these and develop further trade”. Alexander Soen’s center of activity will be the office in Kuala Lumpur, right in the middle of the economically strong Klang Valley. The location strategically well positioned between the city of Kuala Lumpur, the international airport KLIA and Port Klang – which means overall convenient distances for the customers. Apart from national trucking, the office’s main operating areas are international sea and airfreight. Currently, the office is staffed by four logistic professionals.
“A great team – well-educated, highly efficient and motivated. It is real fun to work with these people and I am looking forward to contribute my own experience and ideas as well as working power”, Alexander Soens says. His stay is initially scheduled to last until the end of the year.
